A nine day retreat with Esin Chelebi Bayru, the 22nd generation granddaughter of Mevlana Jelaludin Rumi

It is with extreme pleasure the Dervish Center announces this retreat with Esin Chelebi Bayru — the 22nd generation granddaughter of Mevlana Jelaludin Rumi!
The retreat will be guided by Esin Chelebi and assisted by Khadija Radin.
The retreat daily schedule will include 2 whirling classes, dhikr (chanting with movement), morning and evening meditation and sohbet (spiritual dialogue).
The vegetarian meals will be deliciously prepared by Yoshin David Radin from the Ithaca Zen Center.
Daily saunas with a dip in spring fed ponds, and walks on the exquisite grounds, will round off each day.
Because of Mrs. Bayru’s extensive schedule as the Vice President of the International Mevlana Foundation, the opportunity to study with her for nine days almost never happens. She is coming from Konya, Turkey specifically for this retreat!
This program is open to both men and women and those of all levels of experience in these teachings are welcome, as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to have such personal access to a woman so full of Grace.
Spaces in the retreat are very limited so please register early (details below).
Tuition & Accommodations
Accommodations are comfortable with private bathrooms and no more than two people per room.
With the Covid - 19 situation, guests who wish to share an accommodation must make that arrangement on their own. We will not put roommates together.
Tuition is as follows:
Please arrive between 2 and 5pm on Saturday, May 29.
People traveling by plane who cannot arrive 5pm may arrive after 7pm the night before for an additional $99.
Ithaca (ITH) airport
Registration must be accompanied by a 50% deposit which is refundable until May 20 less a $99 fee.
