About the Event
Murshid Samuel Lewis said this supreme practice was the equivalent of Mahamudra in Mahayana Buddhism. We will use walking meditations, dance, whirling, wazifah practice, the way of the Bodhisattva, sitting meditation, and Sufi/Dharma teachings as a way of respectfully approaching this Mushahida, an all- inclusive heart-centered active state of witnessing. This retreat is during in the peak of the fall foliage and expected to fill quickly.

  • $200

Accommodations
  • $100 per person for a shared room (up to three) and private bath
  • $200 for couple in room with double bed and private bath
  • $200 for private room with private bath
  • $150 for private room
  • 10% increase after September 25, 2011.
  • A 50% deposit reserves a space. $50 is non-refundable. The balance is refundable until September 25, 2011.
  • People coming from the West Coast may arrive after dinner on October 6 for an extra $50.
  • We will pick up participants from the Ithaca Airport (ITH) or the Ithaca bus station (Greyhound or Shortline) between 7:00am and 10:00pm. People arriving after 10:00 pm can take a cab to the center.
